Hello McHenry,

Over the past few years, we've seen so much positive change in our city. From the vibrant new small businesses opening at our Riverwalk to the grants and incentives that are empowering entrepreneurs to thrive, it's clear that McHenry is a place where growth and opportunity are front and center.

I am committed to ensuring that we stay on this path of progress. Together, we will continue to foster an environment where innovation and community spirit can flourish, creating even more opportunities for residents and businesses alike. The future is ours to shape, and with all of you, I am confident that McHenry will continue to be a beacon of success and vitality for years to come.

From revitalizing our downtown to finishing the Riverwalk/Miller Point, paving 27 miles of roads in the last three years (with another 5 miles planned for 2025), and welcoming many new businesses to McHenry, we are creating a community we can all call home. I will always push for preserving the unique character of our historic core, and our McHenry Police Department is second to none. McHenry is truly becoming a place we can all be proud of.

As a small business owner and Vice President of the Pearl Street Market/Music Board, I understand the importance of community. It’s about building relationships, working together, and treating others with kindness and respect.

As a member of the McHenry City Council, I will continue to prioritize the needs and concerns of our community above all else. I will not be swayed by outside interests, special developers, or political pressure. My decisions will always be based on what is best for our neighborhoods, our families, and our city—for generations to come.

I am running for office not as part of a clique, nor to support any particular candidate, but because I genuinely want to represent you and serve the best interests of our city. My commitment is to the people of McHenry—to ensure that our community continues to grow, thrive, and reflect the values that make it such a great place to live and work. I have voted to keep taxes low, and I will continue to do so.

I am asking for your help to continue this momentum. Together, we can achieve so much more. Please help by providing sign locations, spreading the word to your friends, and most importantly, voting for us on April 1st, or early Voting at McHenry City Hall.

Thank you,

Alderman Frank McClatchey
